Hi guys :: i got a new camera!
T’would appear, however, that WordPress does not liketh my Nikon.
It doesn’t allow jpg’s whatever they are.
What is double knitting too while we are being inquisitive?
Anyhow, i’m blogging HERE until i figure it all out.

Some eye candy for you from my knitters stash !

Ohhh pretty yarn! Double knitting is either 8ply yarn or is a way to knit a tube. You slip every 2nd stitch (ie k,slip,k,slip,k) then on the next row you slip,k,slip,k,slip,k.Does that make sense? When in doubt I google things. There’s guaranteed to be a youtube video or 5 about it too.
Posted by lovestitches | January 22, 2012, 7:37 amno ! it doesnt make any sense, but thank you anyway for typing it out ! apparently , double knitting is a way to knit two layers at once.
why on earth would one want to do that ? i am asking myself .
Posted by ohangelina | January 22, 2012, 12:53 pmWordPress won’t allow your Nikon images??? How odd! All I can say is all I have are Nikons (and phone, which gets used more often lately) and have never had a problem but I generally run images through Picasa and resize smaller…
Regarding double knitting – I have NO idea, but I recall hearing about 2 at 1 socks once upon a time and knitting double layers makes sense in that aspect, if that is how 2 socks are knit at once!

i think i’ll stick to singular knitting :: although this double knitting pattern
is so beautiful its got me tempted to try….

I have a Nikon as well, I have to upload them to facebook and then save them to my computer to make them small enough to upload to wordpress. it is rather annoying but I’ve gotten used to it:)) If you figure out another way, please let me know.~ Barefoot Mama
