Hi guys…teaming up with small things tonight. Don’t you love to see what other folks are making and reading? I do. It’s one of my top questions I think I ask people. Whatcha reading? Whatcha making? Whatcha eating?
I wish a big gooey chocolate brownie was up there in my photo…not gooeying itself on my flash { i-started-last year-ahem } crochet blanket i mean,, and definitely not on that new library book {you wouldn’t believe how many we’ve bought already } …. but waiting to go into my beak. Can you tell its tea time? No smells coming from the kitchen,,here i sit…
I have been on a serious RAVELRY rampage lately. I want to make this crochet case, and this pompomy hat, and every night i drool over this lady\’s extremely awesome sweater……however I have declared myself to be ‘cleaning out the closet’. Soooooooooo….all those projects sitting in that drawer are getting pulled out and finished. ONE by ONE. I think i’m gonna open up a page to share my closet cleans. Anyone care to join in?
It’s a good feeling to get things cleaned out, finished up — accomplished. Best wishes.

{Timidly putting up hand} I have a few projects that I need to finish. I get excited by a new idea and off I go. Other projects get left, unfinished. Determined to finish two projects this weekend. Especially as they are for school use and we only have a few weeks left. Eek!

That is a gorgeous sweater! Thanks for dropping by my blog…a scabbard is a sheath that hangs down from a belt to hold a sword :-). What takes to you Western Australia? My DH is from South Australia. We spent the better part of 2006 road-tripping around the country. We loved the southern coast of WA (especially Albany to Margaret River) so much! I missed bagels, but if we hadn’t been camping, I would have missed the collard greens, too! :-)

oh my goodness. BAGELS. i never think of them anymore, until they get mentioned, which is very rare, and then all i want is a bagel. i used to love the little deli shops that sell sun dried tomatoe bagels with ham and lettuce and salmon cream cheese mmMMm. why doesnt australia have bagel shops !!!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. In response to your question, I am excited about the One Skein book I am reading… there are a bunch of scarves and fingerless mittens that I think will make perfect holiday gifts. I haven’t actually made anything yet however, so I have no idea how easy the patterns are to follow, etc.
I have been wanting to make a similar style blanket for my newborn, but I dont know how to crochet, only knit, and I know it will be a big commitment… Hmmmm…

I also need to do some closet cleaning and finish up some knitted projects that have not seen the light of day in quite some time. I’m actually embarrassed to admit this but I have a knitted throw that is almost done and has sat in my closet for the past 4 years untouched. That’s bad isn’t it?
Thanks for dropping by my blog today. It has been a lot of fun reading everyone’s posts and seeing what they are making and reading.

Hello Angelina, i tried to reply to your question via blogger but it didn’t recall your email address… so I’ll reply here hehe. The third photo was done in Photoshop CS5 with an amazing tool called Refine Edges. If you watch this youtube tutorial it might be better than me trying to explain it as its pretty new to me :)
Thanks for popping by my blog… it put a super huge smile on my face to see me in your blog list :D
