Yarning along

Hello!!!!!!!! It’s been awhile, I’ve been busy cooking, knitting for gifts, ebay shopping, and homeschooling ! :)

Oh and packing sorting and tossing for our great migration move ! :)

But I have also been reading … lots of folks from Ginny’s Yarn Along several weeks ago commented on the Lovely Bones book I was reading and I would like to say, although it was grim and sad and depressing ——- it was also definitely a book to be read as it gave a great (true) insight to what i believe happens after death. Particularly to someone wrongfully or suddenly lost , and it tells that a person’s spirit is able to move on easier IF the loved ones left behind let the grief go and become ‘ok’ with the loss. Lessons to be learned by this book. Great author. Hard to put down. Hard to forget.

So…. I am working on exciting knits ! Finishing up an white fluffy alpaca hat for a gift, and a beautiful MadTosh Shawl for me !

Project notes :: botanical garden shawl & rose red III .

My Doris Lessing books have arrived from the library, which one to read first !??

Actually I am still reading A room of one’s own , by Virginia Woolf. Sometimes , when you feel and see things like I do, you need a little Virginia in your life. This Woolf lady and I are great friends. Her sarcastic wit and view of the world, and men, and writers, and pompus English class, and prunes, just drives me into fits of laughter. If I were to see her walking down the street, I would follow her. She would like my shoes. And I , her swagger. x

  5. Beautiful colored yarn for the botanical garden shawl, and you have me curious about “Lovely bones”. I haven’t read anything in a while, I just can’t seem to find a books that sucks me in. Time for reading is scarce these days, and if I’m going to read I want it to be a book I can’t put down. I’ll check it out!
